The Rodeo Comes to Carlsbad

Sheriff's Posse Arena.

The Carlsbad Channel presents the Zia 15th annual Zia Quilting Stitchery Guild exhibit at the Carlsbad Museum and Arts Center
The
quilting exhibit displays more than 60 quilts made by members of the Guild. The
display is open from Tuesday through Sept. 28. Forty members, ages 40 to 88,
will have one of their quilts on display to the public. "The quilts are those of
all our members," said Sally Garner, ZQSG President. "Some of the quilts are
projects that we were doing as the part of the guild and others are quilts that
members made out of their own creativity."
Carlsbad Lake Walk
The
Carlsbad Channel took a walk this morning along Carlsbad Lake. By 11 AM the
early morning walkers had departed and until school lets out we have the lake
